Our fall wedding in November was beautiful -- we used fall colors and leaves to decorate and make it festive. Wedding mapper provided a nifty resource for our website that made it easy for our guests to find the wedding, recommended hotels, and the location of our rehearsal dinner, etc. We planned enough in advance to have our wedding go off smoothly and relatively stress-free! It was so much fun to get married.
You can reach Randy at 760-245-3635. He does weddings from San Diego to LA to Vegas, and will probably go wherever you need him. He did a FABULOUS job of playing the music that we picked out and really wanted to hear, and he didn't just stick to his own stuff when we had a long "must play" list. And the songs of his own that he did play were upbeat and appropriate and actually got people on the dance floor! He's a great MC as well, and he made sure to make announcements about thanking everyone who had been involved in planning the wedding, etc. It was a most enjoyable night thanks to Randy.
O'Malley's made us BEAUTIFUL bouquets and boutonnieres for our fall wedding. We wanted bright yellow, orange, and red colors, and that's exactly what we got! Plus they suggested adding coffee beans to the arrangements, which really gave them all a nice extra touch. They delivered the flowers on time (even early!) and with no last-minute problems, so they were fantastic. And they were actually affordable, too, unlike many other florists we checked out. :)
Edward did an amazing job running around by himself and getting all of our pictures taken on our wedding day. He doesn't do prints and just gives you the digital copies of all your pictures, so you can print what you want on your own. This gives you so much flexibility in putting together an album, and it also makes your wedding photographer much cheaper!! Edward was great to work with, and he nicely and quickly followed the long list we gave him of pictures that we wanted to take with various family members, etc. And all of his shots look fantastic! We had our pictures back within a week, and they are all hosted online as well, so our guests could go look at them, too.
The photo booth was a HUGE hit at our wedding -- people had so much fun popping in for their series of 4 pictures, and then they had great souvenirs to take home, too! This booth was sturdy (not just PVC pipe like some out there), and the option to personalize the screens that come up during the photo shoot to tell you to get ready was an awesome addition. That way our friends could be looking at goofy pictures of US while being told to SMILE for their own picture. It was totally worth the extra cost to get the photo booth and add a little something extra special and fun to our wedding. And Photo Booth Los Angeles kept the booth up and running the whole 6+ hours, prints came out quickly, etc. It was great all-around!
A beautiful location; loved being able to have the ceremony + reception at the same place. Only downside during the ceremony was that loud airplanes were flying overhead and a fire truck was driving by, but there's nothing they could do about that. The wedding coordinator for the day-of seemed rather unenthused and didn't even know our names when we first met him at the rehearsal. The pastor's cordless mic was off for the first half of the ceremony, which peeves me to no end, so make sure they do a sound test before they start your wedding. All that being said, the gazebo area really is beautiful for a wedding, and the reception room is gorgeous as well (it will hold ~170 people comfortably). The grounds are also beautiful, so you can just take all of your pictures on-site, too. The price was reasonable for what was included, and for such a beautiful and convenient location.
We stayed here for our wedding night and got the king suite with whirlpool tub in it. It was a nice big room and we enjoyed the little time we spent in it (suggest staying 2 nights, if you can!). Breakfast buffet was included with the package we got, which turned out to be good food. Oh, and they also give you a warm chocolate chip cookie when you check in. Can't beat that! :) No free internet.
Free internet, free nice continental breakfast, clean basic room... can't beat it for the price! The hotel was just built a few years ago, so everything is new and nice still.
