Being Married to my wonderful husband in Driftwood at Camp Ben McCulloch was the most amazing thing in my life. To be wed in a Historic Texas Landmark with all of my family and friends present. All the rustic charm of the country, the pride of Texas History, and the classic humbled love we have for one another made this the most memorable wedding ever.
They were very quick and helpful with the delivery and their operations allowed ease of use as well as piece of mind on my wedding day. Buzzin Margaritas were a huge hit and I would use them for any event.
Amazing band with amazing talent Flamenco stylistic virtuosos made the wedding music unique and wonderful.
It was so amazing to be able to get married in an old confederate camp ground. The Pavilion was rustic and had so much potential for decor it was limitless. Proper drapes and lighting made this facility romantic, rustic, and classic all at once. My husband and I are musicians it only seemed fitting to be united on stage which the Pavilion also had. The price was more than reasonable for the Pavilion and Cafe and came with old church pews adding to the rustic charm of this venue. We were given free range of the facility the night before even. The rock work on the pavilion is reminiscent of the Alamo and this is truly a gem of Texas History. I cannot say enough good things about my experience of getting married to my wonderful husband at Camp Ben McCulloch. I will remember this for the rest of my life as will all who attended. I come from a lineage for The Daughters of The Republic of Texas so being married in a historic location was truly a treasure in my life.
The hotel was wonderful. Our room was decorated for honeymooners with rose pedals everywhere. The staff at the hotel were simply wonderful, and the Texas shaped waffles were tasty.
