Very helpful, knows the area well, enlists help when necessary, because she's sometimes quite busy. Works with/for? Railey Mountain Lake Vacations, so expect those connections to be stronger than others.
She's also an officiant, if you need one.
I'd never have been able to plan this wedding without her, as we live 3+ hours away from Deep Creek Lake.
They catered our rehearsal dinner, in our rental house. Good food (casual barbeque), though a little late on set-up, perhaps because it was raining and they had to prepare everything off-site instead of right outside the house.
Beautiful photos, took zillions of them. Listened to what we wanted, and offered his own suggestions well. Pricey, but arguably quite worth it. Nice guy, too.
BEAUTIFUL setting. Nice all-inclusive plan that covers ceremony and reception, linens included. All I really had to do was arrange an officiant and a florist. The work with Johnny Rock DJ service often, so they're familiar with each other and work very smoothly together. The owner and chef has a very strong will, so get to know her to facilitate interactions!
Nice selection of cabins all around the lake in various settings. We stayed in a great small cabin called Pit Stop. Nice fireplace, hot tub, small kitchen.
Nice people, very helpful, know exactly how to plan and teach a wedding dance with attention to both performance issues and keeping the love in the dance!
Overtaxed at times, not the best communication -- took many inquiries to finally get a quote, and by that time it would have been too late to find another florist. Forgot a boutonniere that I had specifically asked for. But very nice people in a lovely town.

Beautiful, but expensive. Very close to many rental homes on the lake, including the one where we had our rehearsal dinner, so quite convenient. Will block rooms and offer a discount depending on how many are booked. Odd payment policy as it's not a standard hotel -- each unit is more of a condo owned by an individual, so a large payment is due long before arrival.
Quite possibly the cleanest road-side style motel we've ever seen or could imagine. Looks like your average road-side motel on the outside, but glorious, clean, large rooms inside with personal touches from the inn keepers. Great rates!
Up on the mountain, right at the ski resort, and the haunted mountain coaster in the fall. The tower rooms are MUCH nicer than those in the older, low building. Allows pets.
Nice B&B, vegetarian meals, owned by sweet couple. No AC that I recall. Farther away from the lake, but a great option for those who were looking for a B&B on the river.
