Platinum DJ Services

Our experience with Platinum DJ Services was AWEFUL. We got married 5 years ago now and our DJ service was the worst part of our wedding. I feel bad about it, because the only thing my husband really wanted was a great DJ so that our guests could have a really good time. We met with Joe, who did our initial interview and recommended a DJ from his service who he felt best matched our personalities and what we wanted. We left happy. We filled out all of the paper work and put in our special requests. When we went to our pre-wedding meeting at a local coffee shop, a female DJ was there with him, and not the initial DJ that we had discussed. Joe dominated the interview and we weren't really able to talk much with the girl who was actually supposed to DJ our wedding. Then come our wedding day... someone completely different shows up. We had NEVER met or heard of this DJ. We never received a call, an explanation......NOTHING! My husband tried to call Joe... no answer. Great thing to have to deal with on our wedding day! This person DJ'd our wedding, trying to do his best I'm sure. He started the wrong song for our first dance, and played music that we weren't really into. Not his fault I'm sure.... he had NEVER met us. We never got to do the bouquet or garder toss. We spent the next few days trying to get in touch with Joe. We left messages. He never answered or returned our calls.....ever. To this day we haven't heard a thing. No explanation, no apology, definitely no refund....not even partial. Very unprofessional. The worst part of an otherwise awesome day. Not recommended... Still angry (5years later).

Awesome DJ! I went to a high end (high priced) DJ and then went to see Joe at platinum. He had a lot of energy and ideas. He would have run the whole show if we let him. Instead of playing from a set list he took requests and stayed with the energy on the dance floor. If people danced to certain music he would stick with it and vice versa.
