I had hair and makeup done for myself (bride) as well as my Best Woman, my mother and my mother-in-law. The quality of the hair and make-up was generally excellent, and Tessa, who did my hair and makeup, was absolutely outstanding and I would recommend her without a doubt. It's an Aveda salon, and they only use Aveda products so you will need to bring your own waterproof mascara and false eyelashes (which Aveda doesn't make). I would have given Strands 5 stars, but they were really slow in communicating with me about my appointments and answering my questions about cost and timing. I had to follow up quite a bit. Once you get past the front desk though, the experience is wonderful.
