Doubletree Club Orange County Airport

The doubletree had the best of intentions but failed miserably. The suite was fabulous and it was only 149 a night(with a block of ten rooms) but when i got there to check in (by myself, dress in hand).. the room wasnt ready. It was 4 oclock and the staff was extremely rude about finding the reservation and telling me i would have to wait becasue the top floor has a late check out policy. after crying uncontrollably(wedding drama) with doubletree customer service i got a call form the hotel manager and he gave me his private number to take care of anything the rest of the weekend. There was a tin of cookies and a fruit basket waitng in the room when we got there that night. My family from out of town had the same check in problem and housekeeping seemed a little slow, other than that it was a pleasant stay, convenient location and great breakfast for $99 a night.
