Maxim’s is an elegantly appointed hideaway, which is now available for rental for private events, such as weddings, receptions and parties.
Formerly known as Maxim's de Paris, Maxim's is a replica of the famous Parisian restaurant. Like the original, Maxim's recreates the opulence of la belle époque. Every inch of the fabulous Maxim's de Paris is duplicated, from the famed art nouveau scrollwork and plush red banquettes to the glistening inlays of brass and stained glass, and rich mahogany wood paneling.
A dramatic entrance down a spiral stairway opens to a marbled foyer. Formal dining rooms to the left and a bar and dancing room to the right provide flexibility for entertaining.
Maxim's accommodates up to 136 guests for a formal sit-down dinner and up to 200 for receptions and parties.

We searched throughout Chicago to find an intimate yet unique venue that would be memorable for us and our guests for the reception. Maxim's was a perfect choice for the reception. Rich reds, velvet, old school lounge atmosphere made for an intimate gathering and the space was perfect for dinner and dancing. Gorgeous bar area. It was like having your own private club and you didn't compete for space in a hotel or banquet hall. Also very reasonable pricing for a downtown Chicago location in the heart of the Gold Coast. Very convenient location as well near the Omni Ambassador Hotel. Alan was a joy to work with.
