Bittersweet Bakery

Well, the cake was GORGEOUS. Aside from that, the prices were a little steep. But the biggest issue was they definitely gave us the wrong kind of cake. We ordered yellow cake (we specifically wanted a lighter cake for our outdoor reception), and they gave us their "special" cake, which cost a dollar more, and tasted mildly like cornbread. Our guests even asked us if it was! So it was a thick cake for a hot outdoor reception. Aside from the mistake (which we didn't even realize until the next day), the staff was very nice, the cake really was beautiful, and the bakery shop is adorable. Worth a visit to check out their stuff.
