The food was not what we had tasted, we had to tell them to cut and serve our cake and to pour the champagne for our toast. The list goes on and on... The person to blame is Janet Praid, the hotel's wedding coordinator. She did nothing she was promised and left before the reception even started. She did not relay any info for the banquet servers to follow, which resulted in a disaster. She also messed up our wedding night room, which made my mom and bridesmaids miss an hour of our reception. When we confronted her the next day, she blamed everyone else at the hotel and even my husband and his mother! We finally had to take this all to the manager (on the day after our wedding, mind you) to get anything done. We got ten percent off the total, which in hindsight was not enough. Janet Praid needs to be fired.
They messed up quite a few guests' rooms, but were able to fix their mistakes. They also had to constantly be reminded to hand out our info to our guests when they checked in. They added a lof of unneeded stress that weekend.
