Description

First Unitarian Church of San Jose is the perfect place for many brides and grooms, who want a church wedding at a venue filled with charm, history and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The building’s Romanesque Revival architecture incorporates high domes, arched entryways and is filled with beautiful stained-glass windows.

The church is also perfect for your reception, either in the parlor-style Fireside Room, which features an upright piano, wainscoted walls and a barrel ceiling or the adjacent Hattie Porter Hall with spacious, high ceilings, mood lighting, dark wood floors, and the ambient light from stained-glass windows. You can also take advantage of photo opportunities at the historic St. James Park across the street designed in part by Frederick Olmstead, the mastermind behind outdoor treasures such as New York’s Central Park.
