Who are we?

SIM Wedding is a division of Sheng’s International Media ltd. (SIM). SIM is a multimedia company specialized in commercial, documentary, event, music video, and short film. With 2 years of experience in the industry, SIM has served over 50 clients, and has made over 150 videos!

Our equipment

We mainly shoot with DSLRs, and our primary camera is Canon 5D mark iii. By request, we have operators for slider, crane, and steady cam system.

Our fully furnished studio is located @ 1125-22091 Fraserwood Way Richmond B.C. In our studio we have professional lighting and setup for video and photography demands.

Our work process

We spend over 10 hours time in pre-production for every clients, no matter what package you buy. We use this 10 hours of pre-production time to do scripts, meetings, getting to know our clients, and to film B-Rolls of our clients. We usually meet up with our clients 2-3 times before their wedding, and you will be expecting a lot of communications from us!

What makes us different?

We believe that in order to be part of the unique experience, we must know our clients well. We spend extra hours listening to our client’s stories, and we share our own stories with them. We want our clients to know who is responsible for capturing their most important moment, and to be comfortable with us.

Coming from a background in short films and documentaries, we understand how important audios are to films. We carefully select all sound effects and background music, and we include as much audio and ambiance sound as possible in our films.

Finally, we’re full time filmmakers, the reason we’re doing this is because we love film, and we’re passionate about this job. We’re doing this as a career we love, not a hobby.
