Litchfield Plantation has been quietly hidden away since the 1700s. The historic rice plantation is a remnant of the elegance of the old south. Once you pass through the wrought iron gates and drive down the Avenue of Live to the Carriage House Club and Country Inn you are taken back to another time. The beautiful landscape is like no other; 100s of live oaks, historic rice fields, marshes, and ponds have been carefully preserved.

Beautiful! Wedding ceremony was held outdoors on the Avenue of Live Oaks. Cocktails, Dinner and Dancing held inside Carriage House. Would have liked to give five stars, but had multiple issues with staff turnover throughout the year I planned the wedding. From beginning to end I met and planned my event with three different banquet managers. If you are willing to deal with this, and manage your event on your own or with an outside wedding planner, this place is perfect.
