Dear Prospective Bride and Groom,

Thank you for your interest in holding your wedding ceremony at Ed Z’Berg Sugar Pine Point State Park. The grounds are available by reservation for weddings year-round, but generally occur between May and October due to weather. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance through the park.

Events take place outdoors and generally after park operations. From Memorial Day through Labor Day weddings with receptions can be booked only after 3:30 pm, all events must end at 10pm, with clean-up from 10pm to midnight. The maximum number of persons for weddings and receptions is 140. For Weddings only, the maximum number of persons is 200. The first page of the application, the non-refundable processing fee and security/damage deposit are required within 14 days to hold a calendar date. Additionally, a monitor fee, parking fees and the facility fee will be due. These fees, along with liability insurance, are required within 60 days prior to your event date. The attached brochure and application provide more details on fees according to number of people and catered/non-catered events. For events larger than 50 persons, pre-paid parking is required.

The park is a historic zone with beautiful lawn areas along the shoreline. The Pine Lodge, (The Ehrman Mansion), and a small gazebo are located at the top of the lawn and beaches and a State dock lie at the bottom edge. Parking is prohibited in the historic zone of the park, however, public parking is available within walking distance. Please read the application to find out more details and requests for exceptions to vehicle access.
Additionally, we have opened up the Children's House on this same property for smaller weddings or parties of 60 or less. Additionally, this house has a kitchen for caterer support, a lawn area for tables and chairs as well as a tennis court area for tents, band or DJ, or even a game of tennis.
Changing facilities and restrooms are available. Please refer to the application for information on catering, music, electricity, lighting, flowers and other props, set-up and clean-up, food and alcohol, or any other inquiries you might have. Park Interpreters and/ or docents may be requested by the permittee for an additional fee. A State Park monitor is required for all weddings and receptions, the fees are listed in the brochure.

If you are interested in booking a wedding or reception, please review the enclosed information carefully. If you like what you see, and have a date in mind, ask us about availability. If your date is available, we suggest you tentatively reserve the date in your name. We highly recommend you make an appointment to come visit the site and tour the facilities.
