TVK Music has been providing quality live music for brides and grooms in Chicago and throughout the Midwest since 1990. We can provide everything from exceptional solo musicians to jazz and string combos to a dance band ranging in size from 7 to 14 pieces. Bandleader Tom VanKanegan and his musicians have performed at thousands of events, played with such artists as Aretha Franklin and Diana Krall and have earned a reputation as one of Chicago’s top bands. 
We were recently named a recipient of a 2011 Bride’s Choice Award from the website, Wedding Wire.


Our band has a diverse repertoire that includes indie, contemporary, 90s, 80s and classic rock, R&B, Motown, disco, Big Band, swing and jazz. We tailor music to fit each couple’s musical tastes, including learning new songs. In addition to our outstanding musicians, we are easy going, flexible and use our years of experience to make sure your event is seamless and stress-free.
