I hope you're hungry for something sweet! Grandma Tillie's Bakery bakes the old fashioned way,
with dough made from fresh ingredients, delectable frostings created from butter, real vanilla and
real cream. We take the time to make everything from scratch, every ingredient carefully measured
and sifted according to treasured recipes that have taken years and in some cases, decades to perfect.
From Unique Celebration Cakes to Decorated Sugar Cookies, Mouth watering pies to freshly
baked bread, we aim to please your palate! Do you have a special recipe you would love to taste
again? We also make custom baked goods of all kinds.
We are a licensed, health department inspected bakery serving beautiful Sitka Alaska.

GREAT work! My then-fiance and I took in a picture of a cake similar to what we were envisioning, worked out a few minor details that we wanted to change, and hoped for the best. The end product - a cake we didn't get to see until WE showed up at the reception - was even better than I had seen in my head. Kris (owner/baker/decorator!) created a cake that looked AND tasted amazing. She really went above and beyond everything we had asked. She was great to work with, answered every question I had in the time leading up to the wedding, and even helped work out what kind of flowers would look best on the cake. I highly recommend her if you're getting married in Sitka!
