This was the church I grew up in and I always imagined myself getting married there. I was able to make the wedding Christ-centered. The options for the ceremony were either 12:00 pm or 2:00 pm and we opted for the latter. The music director, Mary Pachuta-Willis, also acted as the wedding coordinator and put on a wedding workshop for all the couples to attend. This helped couples pick out music, hear a fantastic soloist, and understand how the ceremony would go before the rehearsal. She was also very helpful in suggesting how much to donate to the church, the priest, the musicians, etc. The Pre-Cana went effortlessly. A couple who had been married for 30+ years was assigned to meet with us several times before we got married and we learned a lot through them as well. The rehearsal was quick and painless the day before. Since we were the only couple getting married that day I was able to use the Gathering Room to get ready. The view from the windows were great. There was also plenty of parking and plenty of space for all of our guests.
Mary, the music director, deserves special credit for all her work on the details of our wedding. Vicky, our soloist, has a beautiful voice that everyone enjoyed. We were very happy that Fr. Tony returned to celebrate our wedding even after changing locations 2x during our planning.
