Description
The Roundhouse Railroad Museum is the site of the former Central of Georgia repair shops, a major repair facility for the Central of Georgia Railroad and a vibrant part of Savannah's industrial heritage. The Coastal Heritage Society accepted management of the Savannah Shops complex in the late 1980s and continues to manage this National Historic Landmark.
