We held our pre-wedding picnic at a pavilion at Sandy Point State Park. It was beautiful. The park and bathrooms were clean, the park rangers were friendly and everything went smoothly.
We were initially taken aback about the entrance fee to the park. Please be aware that you will need to purchase (or your guests will need to purchase) tickets to enter the park on top of the pavilion rental fees.
