The room was beautiful and they were very friendly, but there were several things that were originally negotiated, which they did not stick to. I had to renegotiate some items and show email proof of other items discussed. After we signed our contract they changed the menu, and raised meal costs and their service fee. This was stated in the contract that things could change, but didn't expect everything to be updated during our contract period. I actually don't think venues should be able to change things once you sign a contract. They were very friendly as we worked all these issues out, but there just shouldn't have been issues in the first place.
I also was treated very rudely at the end of the night by a staff member designated to take our personal items and gifts to our room. Last thing I needed at the end of our reception.
