The Museum of Spanish Colonial Art is one of Santa Fe's premier venues for wedding ceremonies and receptions, private dinner parties, family reunions, and business meetings. The Museum is housed in a faithfully restore traditional Santa Fe style home designed by renowned architect John Gaw Meem. The home was built in the 1930's as the Director's Residence by John D. Rockefeller Jr. for a possible cultural campus that was not completed. It was conceived as a grad setting to host important parties. And, still is!

The Museum consists of 9 galleries backed by a spacious enclosed portal that leads to a flagstone patio with a magnificent view of Santa Fe's Sun and Moon mountains and the Sangre de Cristo foothills. The patio has very attractive plantings throughout and additional floral arrangements can easily be added. The north and south parking lots may also be tented for larger parties. The facilities may be rented with or without access to the Museum galleries. Times need to be arranged around public hours.

The Museum does not usually provide catering, parking services or tenting, but we are happy to recommend vendors whom we have successfully worked with in the past. Rental clients are responsible for basic cleanup after events and for any damage to the institution.

Facilities and security services are provided by the hour. There is ample parking for caterers and other vendors on the north side of the Museum. Hot and cold water and electricity in both 110 & 220 volts are available just off the patio in a hidden caterer's service area.
