Wow! I cannot praise Stan and Bobbi enough. They are meticulous with planning and so much fun. With out them, our day would never have run as smoothly as it did. The are phenomenal!

My wife and I got married a little later then most of our friends; I only say this because we have been to a ton of wedding sin the past few years. As unbiased as I can be I have to say based on stories from friends and personal observations at other weddings, Stan Dixon blows any other DJ out of the water. His experience affords him the ability of planning for the things that you can never think of as you are planning so many other facets of your wedding day. From our first meeting Stan was impressive; he sat with us for an hour talking us about what exactly we wanted and that was before we hired him. Once we decided to go forward with him he worked around our schedule as we were planning our wedding from Chicago, exchanging e mails and chatting with us over the phone. At our last meeting he sat and worked with my wife and father in law for 45 minutes alone working on mixing two songs that they wanted for their father daughter dance just perfectly each time saying “are you sure that is exactly what you want, we can do it again, I want it to be perfect.” Additionally he was able to find a rare version of a song that my mother wanted for our mother son dace.

He gives you the ability to plan every minute of your event, though you do not have to do so. After being so comfortable with his abilities, he ran the reception for us, he watched the clock, we did not have to, he coordinated with the kitchen, photographer and videographer to make sure everyone was on the same page. We did not have to do any of that. He told us when we needed to be meeting the photographer somewhere based on what we told him, we did not have to worry. As a result, we were able to really enjoy our reception, which we hear is an absolute rarity because of the coordination and communication that needs to take place during the reception. Everyone tell you something went other then the way it was planned at their wedding. Our reception had a lot of planning behind with the 232 guests that attended and it and it went off without a hitch because of DJ Stan. The entire process was virtually effortless and stress free.

His biggest strengths are unquantifiable, as he feels the crowd he “plays” to them like a musician in a concert. Multiple friends from different parts of our life with many different interests thought our DJ was amazing, when we talk to other couples who have gotten married and we tell them about all the work he did with us, they cannot get over it. Other parents of people who got married are jealous that of the service we received from DJ Stan. All we can say is that we agree with all of them. The only way you can go wrong with DJ Stan is by not having him as your DJ.

Stan provided music for our ceremony and music and entertainment services for our reception, and he was absolutely amazing! He took care of so many details that John and I didnt even think about. He did a wonderful job of coordinating with the ceremony and reception site, and making sure that everything happened at the right time and on schedule. He had a great personality and was very professional. He also had a ton of great ideas on how to make our reception reflect us as a couple and still be very unique. We recommended him, and still do, to everyone we talk to. Of the few things I would change about my wedding day, he is definately not one of them!!

We would absolutely recommend Stan Dixon. He filled in at the last second when our service (Hey Mr DJ) canceled on us. He was a highlight of our reception and we received so many compliments on him. He was professional, but fun yet remained classy. He took alot of time with us to learn exactly what we wanted and did exactly what we asked. We give him our highest recommendation!
