Everyone loved the food at the Mirage. When I booked the venue, the staff helping me was so helpful and excited, it was great! I felt very comfortable with everyone there.
Food was fine, but the service and the staff were unhelpful once we'd officially booked. Would NOT recommend. The day of the event was almost ruined due to the staff's incompetence and the owner's disrespectful attitude toward a client.
I was pleased with Mirage for the most part--it was affordable, the location was good, the facility was swanky, the waitstaff was excellent, and the food was good! They also helped us do some specialty stuff, like have a screen & projector. The only challenge I ran into was that the hall came with a day-of event coordinator that we didn't know about beforehand. That may sound like a good thing, but had I known, I would've very much liked to meet with them BEFORE the event so we could've discussed the details of what would happen when. We went to great lengths to plan the day, only to have the coordinator insist that many things happen in a different order & it felt like we were thrown for a loop. These changes caused some chaos with the pre-party hor d'ouevres & the cake (ie. the Cocktail Hour hor d'ouevres were only out for 20 min, and the cake was cut waaaaay too early & there were major mixups about which flavors went to which tables). Other than the coordinator, the venue was great!
