Seacoast Science Center

The Seacoast Science Center is located in historically rich Odiorne State Park in Rye, NH. It is a perfect oceanfront venue for weddings, corporate parties, etc.

Indoors we can accommodate about 70 people for a formal seated dinner in the Sugden House fireplace room or the Gregg Interactive Learning Studio. We can host up to 150 throughout the exhibit gallery spaces for less formal (less centralized) weddings and events. This arrangement works well for a cocktail style events (group size of 75-150) with buffet and bar stations located among the exhibits.

Outdoors (most popular option!) we can accommodate up to 225 (dependent upon catering option, size of dance floor, etc) under a white 40’x80’ tent on our North Lawn from May through mid-October. This is the most private piece of this public park. The lawn area is bounded by the Science Center, the woods and 600' of oceanfront shoreline with views to Whaleback lighthouse, the Piscataqua River, and the Isle of Shoals. A small gazebo in the back corner of the lawn, and a large piece of driftwood on the opposite side of the building, are a couple of locations where some choose to have their wedding ceremony.
