I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue to have my wedding reception than The Sheraton Gunter Hotel. The director of catering, Stacy Seaborn, and her staff were absolutely amazing! They not only took such pride in helping me plan my wedding reception but they were so organized and attentive to every detail and question I had along the way. And when the day finally arrived, Stacy and her staff were on top of every aspect -- from setting up each table the way I had envisioned to the well-prepared and beautifully-designed plates of food to Stacy, herself, waiting outside the hotel for us to arrive and bringing us in so we could be announced – all of this just created such a magical and elegant ambience for us and our guests. Every aspect of our day was just so perfect and beautiful, and as a bride, it was so rewarding and heart-warming to hear all the complements from my guests on every aspect of the night. I will always have the vision of walking into my reception for the very first time with my groom, and seeing how beautifully-coordinated everything was, and that wouldn’t have been possible without Stacy. Stacy orchestrated and planned every aspect of the day --- brides, it was so amazing not to have to worry about what time the flowers or cake were going to arrive that day and making sure they were set-up in their proper places, as well as the music, and that’s because Stacy and her team took care of all that and so much more.
Stacy Seaborn, Director of Catering, & the staff were fatastic to work with. The ballroom was beautiful & the food was outstanding. I am so glad that we selected the Gunter Hotel for the reception - the service was tremendous & everything went so smoothly. The attention to all the details made it the perfect venue.
Stacy and her team at the Gunter did a phenomenal job and gave us a true "fairy tale wedding"! The venue was stunning, the staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and Stacy herself did an amazing job of pulling it all together for her overwhelmed bride! I highly recommend both the venue and Stacy!
The people at the Gunter were the most competent people I worked with in our entire wedding. They were very helpful and courteous and helped with small requests we made.
You will have to stay on top of little things - make sure the food they serve is what you ordered, make sure that if you set drink limits or limits on what types of drinks are served that they stick to those, and make sure they do arrangements like you want. But overall, they take care of alot for you!
