Glen Echo Park (reception site)

Glen Echo is a unique venue with a lot of charm, and the Bumper Car Pavilion can be decorated (or not) to be as informal or formal as you like, leaving room for a lot of personalization. The rental price was affordable, the GEPPAC staff are attentive and helpful in planning (particularly Emily Mah), and the pavilion even includes amenities for inclement weather, making this the ideal outdoor venue—no tent necessary. Just make sure to check out the National Park Service-approved caterers before signing a contract; there are only 4, and most are on the high end of the price scale. Also, NPS prohibits hard liquor consumption in the park, but at least that helps keep the alcohol bill down.
