The venue itself is gorgeous. We planned the wedding reception to be in their courtyard, but sadly it rained so things got crazy since they had to move things inside.
I don't think they really had their act together. It could have been our coordinator, but either way it was pretty disappointing. We had so many questions about what we can and cannot do, questions about the menu, and it was as if our questions forced them to be more clear and redo their menus and FAQs. Our coordinator Alanna was very difficult to get a hold of and always seemed to be on vacation. She was very helpful through email though. I understood her role, and knew not to rely on her for a lot of stuff, but it really felt like she did the bare minimum of her job and did not really care about us.
The one thing I was upset about was the top layer of our cake. They did not box it up and give it to us. Apparently they said they did, but it was too late and didn't have anyone to give it to. So of course they threw it out. I was fine with that part, it was just the way I was treated while I was trying to find things out. It was as if the manager did not want to deal with my questions about the cake and was very eager to hang up the phone with me.
We had them cater, and the food was just "okay". The kids meals were cold. The pasta dish was pretty small, and cold. The wine is pretty tasty.
Overall, I just think it was okay, which is why I'm giving them 4 stars. The price is basically for the look of the place since it's gorgeous.
The Martinelli Event Center is a beautiful place to have any event. We held our wedding ceremony and reception there. It made it so much easier for all our of out of town guests. They allow one event at a time. So you have a few different options for your needs. We used the whole place. The terrace for the ceremony, the courtyard for the cocktail hour, and a 'ballroom' for the reception. The catering was amazing! The down side was they started cleaning up the room and setting up for the next day before we even had our last dance. Be aware the coordinators will try to make extra cash off of you for being your 'wedding planner'. For a Bride and Groom that work in the hospitality/food industry, you can find someone cheaper that does more.
This is a great alternative for couples who already live together and have everything they need in their living space. We were able to register our honeymoon and enjoy a luxurious spa that otherwise we would not have been able to afford. The site was really easy to use and extremely user friendly. The payments came exactly when I had scheduled them and I never had to call them for help. Only minus was the 7% interest fee they take from your gifts. Otherwise, great and highly recommended.
We got married in front of the large oak tree at their Pavilions location--the pictures came out amazing and it was perfect for our guests and for us.
The food is excellent!!!! The wine--you need to shop around we had to try everything they had before we settled on just two types of wine to serve because the rest were subpar. Service from the waitstaff was great, service from the event planners was poor to say the least but its a gorgeous location and its the vineyards of napa without the steep costs so I can't complain/
Weddings of heart- Lilly is amazing! She made our ceremony custom to us and took a lot of interest in who we were as individuals and as a couple.
LOVED Martinelli! Amazing venue, people were nice and very accomodating. Our guests loved the indoor outdoor access as there was lots of space to party!!! Everything looked gorgeous and the food was YUMMY!
