The St. Cloud Country Club has 2 options -- an outdoor patio for smaller weddings and a large area on the golf course for bigger ones, with the option to move indoors if weather is bad. We've been working with Rollie at the County Club for our wedding and it's been so easy. They provide the linens for tables, napkins (in your choice of colors), a glass of champagne for everyone invited to your wedding during dinner, and the food we tasted was awesome. They have more complimentary services than anyone in town.
You can have an outdoor wedding at Munsinger Gardens, but you are limited to 75 guests and you have to have it pre-approved by the Parks & Rec office. http://ci.stcloud.mn.us/index.aspx?NID=194
There is also Unity Spirtual Center in Sartell - my friend is getting married there in the Peace Garden. Here's the link for that:
There's a start for you ;-) good luck with your planning!
I had my ceremony and reception at Riverside Park in August. I would definitely recommend it. Renting the park is very affordable and it includes a large clean shelter with restrooms and lots of picnic table seating for dinner. It's one of the few public parks I found in Minnesota that allows alcohol consumption, and it does not have a guest limit. Since it is a public park, there's no catering or anything like that. You're on your own to come up with food, drinks, and everything you need for the ceremony and reception (including decor). However, I really enjoyed being able to hand-pick everything. The downside to catering companies is that they have set menus and recipes and are VERY expensive. I had a few very nice and talented friend/family cook and do decorations and I could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. It really is a beautiful location.
