We need to find a ceremony site. Neither of us are religous nor do we want a religous ceremony but enjoy the look of that type of atmosphere or someplace intimate and romantic. Please let us know of any places to jsut have an intimate ceremony before we head over to our venue where the reception is held. Our reception is in Auburn, MA. Thanks!

The Old Stone Church in West Boylston is beautiful. It's on the resevior. You can't be inside the church- just outside on the grounds.
I'm having my ceremony there 7/28/2012.

Oh yeah, and it's FREE. Limit is 25 people though.

The Beechwood Hotel in Worcester has a gorgeous room for ceremony's that was part of a very old chapel. Dark wood and beautiful stained glass all throughout. It is small and intimate.

All of our guests stayed at the hotel and I got ready there. The rooms were very nice.

Check out http://www.arrowheadacres.com/weddings-banquets.htm Depending on availability, they may offer you the beautiful grounds for your ceremony. It would be a short drive back to Auburn.

It says they "rent" it out and that you provide the officiant. Unitarian's are traditionally known as pretty accepting of just about all ideologies and probably why they have a rent option whereas you wouldn't be able to do that in many other functioning religious places.

too bad you aren't closer to NH...there is this little stone chapel called Alvirne Chapel in Hudson, NH that is just the most idyllic place and beautiful stone & woodwork inside! I attached a pic. Its non-functioning church and only rented out.
