We got married at the Saginaw Art Museum in the gardens. The guests were seated in the grassy area just outside the doors and we stood at the top of the steps leading to the English-style garden below. The rain alternative is not great though- its a meeting room that would not hold a lot of people (we had ~75 guests and it was beautiful weather anyway).
I highly recommend the Temple Theatre for reception and/or ceremony. There is a lounge area on the first floor that would make for a nice wedding site (in front of the fireplace). The ballroom on the top floor is absolutely beautiful for a reception.
I would have to agree that the Temple Theatre is an option. I did not have my ceremony at the Leopard Lounge, however used it for my cocktail hour. However, I could see how it could be a nice place for the ceremony.
We had our reception at the Montague Inn. It was wonderful and unique, even if the staff is not great at handling events, it was still a good experience that our guests enjoyed.
