Hi there,
My parents had their 25th Wedding Anniversary at Morning Star Golf Course. I found it to be quite classy, although it was a tight fit for the number of people they had. If you are having a large group, I would definitely look elsewhere, especially if you have many people that enjoy dancing. The room is rectangular in shape, with the head table usually sitting at the front of the narrow wall of the rectangle, if that makes sense. The head table would be in front of the large windows of the room. Also, if I remember correctly, the bar may have been in a different room, which is an inconvenience. But, if you're having a small group, the room will work nicely.
If you are into traveling a bit for your reception, check out the Riviera in Lake Geneva. We had our wedding there and it is a PHENOMENAL location - absolutely beautiful.
Here's the Riviera website:

Although the photos on the website don't do it justice.
You will get to use your own caterer - we used Chef Jack in Waukesha. He is also phenomenal. http://www.chefjacks.com/
He was great at working with our budget.
