LM, Tscherassi are about the same price as what your are looking at right now.
Try Casa la Fe http://www.casalafe.com/, Casa del Curato, Casa Pestagua and Bantu hotel http://www.bantuhotel.com/. Those are some of the ones I saw that are luxurious, very nice and relatively cheaper.
If you have guests who are on a really tight budget, the old city is full of nice, clean no-frills hotels in the old city. One place I've stayed is called Hotel el Viajero in Calle Porvenir (near the University and very close to the Juan Valdez coffee shop). This place only costs $40 per night or so. For that price, there is of course not a lot of charm, but they have A/C, wifi, and a friendly staff.
