Wedding Questions

I cannot tell you the "end" result but I can tell you they have been wonderful and attentative during the planning process. We booked with them last February for a June 2011 wedding and have been very helpful with questions, suggested vendors, ideas, etc. I have heard nothing but good things about their food and service. My daughter booked her wedding in Jan. 2013 at Silver Shores, she gave them her deposit which was more then the amount required. A few weeks later her fiance called off the wedding. I contacted Silver Shores to explain the circumstances. A couple weeks later my daughter received a letter stating they would give her anything back. She had borrowed this money from her grandfather and has to repay. They had 8 months notice and lost nothing as that date for Sept. 27 will be booked if not already. So on top of her pain they just added more to it. These people are totally heartless and nothing more thieves. As they made $1600.00 off my daughter for doing absolutely nothing.
