The Conch Train also has Trolleys... and now there is a new Trolley Company in town that may even be less expensive.. It is called City View Trolleys.. 305-294-0664. I don't know how many people either trolley holds, but check it out.
We only had around 20 guests, but our coordinator, Michael Vernon, arranged to have pedicabs (bicycle cabs) drive our guests. They can also be decorated, if you'd like. Our guests loved it!
We used the conch train for our wedding of 30 guests- it was great! There was a little bit of a gap in time between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the reception so we had the train do a "mini tour" to kill some time. Our guests seemed to really like it. They showed up on time and we are really glad we chose them. Good luck!
I am in the same boat. I will have about 60 - 80 and need to transport everyone to Smathers from the La Concha Hotel and then back.I am looking into taxis as well. My coordinator tells me that they are only $5. My stepmom also called around and found a company that has 14 passenger vans and they quoted her $20 for the whole van. I will ask her the name of the company. I am pretty sure it's called Pink Taxi.
I know this is an old post but who did you girls end up using for your transportation? We're going to have about 50-60 and need to go from The Inn at Key West to Smathers and back. We don't have a lot of time between the ceremony and reception so we don't need "filler time" just transportation to and from.
Let me know :)
We used the trolly and it was wonderful. Our only issue was that it can't stop on a busy street for long so everyone had to line up early on the street and wait for it so they could pile on quickly.
Thanks for Posting this question and everyone replying. I am in the same boat...guest count anywhere 40-60. Glad to hear the trolly was a good pick i will be looking into it soon.
