I am planning a fall wedding in september of next year (2011) and I have be going back and forth on color ideas. I kept seeing beautiful combinations and couldnt decide what to choose. I finally saw a peacock feather that was amazing. The colors are a jewel tone (shinyness to them), and perfect for the fall wedding. It also goes along with our indoor/outdoor wedding reception. My problem now is coming up with decorating ideas. I am so not creative, which is not ideal in the wedding planning world. And I am on a budget so I am trying to do alot of DIY things. does anyone have and ideas or websites that might help?? Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks Erin.

Emptyprofileicon Anonymous is an awesome wedding website. It has pictures, colors, ideas, free website you can create and save ideas to your own site for free!!! Any color wedding cake....bridesmaids dresses you name they have it! Hope this helps...also lots of diy ideas and chances to talk to brides from all over! Do you have a photographer yet? I take engagement and wedding pictures...just getting started, but now have a few very happy clients, so I'm very reasonable. If you are on facebook, I have a few samples of an engagement shoot I just did downtown Louisville, and just got back from NC visiting my daughter and did an engagement shoot there. Renee Morr

Hi Erin, I am a florist from upstate NY, Fall weddings are a great time for color, This year alot of chocolate browns are in. If you like the peacock feather, you are into colors, keeping with the budget, stay with zinnias, dahlias, batchelor buttons, and a few green cymbidium orchids, all in season), flower choices would be blues, greens, and purples, and cream, For yourself, depending on your dress, and choice of flowers, it is hard to decide, what I would choose, and the same with the men, depending on color of suits and ties. If you chose khaiki slacks, cornfower blue ties, I would choose a green cymbidium orchid with a tiny blue batcholor button boutionnier, for the men. Good luck to you! I have been doing weddings now for 25 years,in the floral business, and my fiance and I are trying to plan our wedding up in York Me. which is planned for Aug 13,2011. I understand your frustration, if I can do anything to help I will try. Wish you were closer I would help you more with your budget, and flower needs. Vicki
