We had family emergencies going on and were running out of time so we ended up at our local Hallmark store and they assisted us in choosing and printing our invitations. We were really worried about the price but as it turned our we were able to work with one of their printing vendors got a really good deal. We had thought about printing them ourselves, etc and are really glad we had them done for us afterall. If you want something designed for you special (which we did) all you have to do is give them a digital picture and they can do it. I downloaded one off of the internet and emailed it to them. They printed the invitations, seating cards, and thank you cards for us. I don't remember exactly how much but was in the neighborhood of $200+ - which included the rush job. They supplied everything.
If you need a DJ, I HIGHLY recommend:
SoundMasters DJ Entertainment
They were incredible and their price was great!
Let me know if you need any other recommendations. We were extremely please with everyone we used.
Thanks for the info! I had heard Hallmark could do them but like you, was afraid of the price.
I will definitely check rhem out. What type of pic did you download? I'm debating on doing our invitations
with our picture. How many invitations did you order? I have around 200.
We ordered and sent out 200 - with 150 that came.
We really like the Celtic love knot cladaugh, so I downloaded it to a picture file.
So much fun!
I also forgot to mention our caterer. Our original one had to cancel (not her fault) and we had to get another at the last minute - 2 weeks +/- before the wedding. Fortunately the replacement we ended up liking every bit as much and the first one. We used:
They were no small potatoes catering company LOL. They were really great and helped us come up with a specialty menu almost identical to our original menu. Becky went out of her way to help us. We had a Garden Tea theme with various type tea sandwhiches and we also included heavy hot Hors d'œuvre's. Was really very nice and fed everyone very well without breaking the budget! LOL
I read your post and wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming wedding. I create custom invitations and stationery and just wanted to invite you to check out my website. I am willing to work on customizing you something on the computer and either I can do the printing, or you can just purchase your customized invite to print them yourself. Please don't hesitate to email me with any questions!
Try 123print.com, you can get save-the-date postcards for $20 for 100!! Customizable and I'm sure a good deal on invitations too! Hope this helps :)

I used vistaprint.com for my invitations. I also used them to order save the dates, rsvp/reception cards and thank you cards. They were fast and reasonable. I am printing my own programs though because the ones available from vistaprint were not what I was looking for. If you sign up and brows a few days you will get e-mail notifications of sales!! Good luck!
