You can't pick it, honestly. I deliberately planned mine for 6 Feb this year because last year that weekend fell during a month long dry spell (it was the equivalent weekend of the Melbourne fires in 2009). Cyclone Olga came to Sydney on 6 Feb this year and it was bucketing torrential rain. The fine weather this year did not start until about March, but the year before it was getting cold by then. You just have to pick a day and hope.

My wedding was on the 29th of January and we had the worst summer on record - it was raining for a week up to the day and then we woke to blue skies! An afternoon storm blew in which cooled it off and it rained late in the evening... you really can't tell.

Whilst i got married in Oct last year the weather was a bit iffy and then on the day of my wedding there was overcast. We had a garden wedding and the gardens had an undercover area to use which my now husband decided at the last minute to utilise. It was very light rain, and when i arrived it stopped. The photos turned out beautifully as it was overcast.
At the end of the day my attitude was i cant control the weather what ever happens so im not going to worry about it. As long as i got to marry the perfect man for me and was surrounded by family and friends the light drizzle, down pour or sunny skies doesnt really matter. Enjoy your day and worry about things you CAN control.
Wishing you a very happy day regardless and hope you have an amazing life with the person of your dreams.

We got married on the 21st February and leading up to it I was really hoping it wouldn't rain but on the day although it was a bit overcast and sprinkling I think I was so happy it didn't bother me.
We were pretty lucky it rained a few times throughout the day but conveniently when we were travelling to our photos, then stopped, then not till later on in the night when we were all inside the reception venue.
Plan and organise the best you can but just pick a day that best suits or is special and deal with the weather on the day. For rain there's always unbrellas which can make some nice photos and for hot weather there's ways to keep cool.
Best of luck on the day hope it's a lovely day for the both of you we both thought it was the most enjoyable, funnest day of our lives to date.

we organise many outdoor weddings in Sydney in February, and by experience, the weather is usually great with few summer thunderstorms, usually in the afternoon. by saying that, there is only one thing that you cannot control on your wedding day, and that's the weather! Instead of worrying about it, just plan ahead!
Here a few tips on how to plan an outdoor wedding in Sydney taking into consideration the bad weather:
• Don’t just opt for the best! Choose an outdoor ceremony venue in Sydney that offers a bad weather option like a shelter or a garden gazebo. All best wedding locations in Sydney do have either a gazebo, shelter or cover area nearby ideal for outdoor weddings.
• If there is no shelter in the vicinity, consider hiring a gazebo . Nowadays, you can even buy a foldable one for as little as $ 100. Delegate a person from your party that can put it up for you in case of rain (although light items are usually ok, remember to ask the local council if you need permission)
• Ask your reception to reserve an area in case the ceremony cannot be held outdoor (make sure that it will accommodate your guests and suitable for a ceremony). This should be your ‘last’ option’, as receptions don’t really have much space to accommodate ceremonies .
• For outdoor weddings, adding on your invitations your chosen ‘wet/bad weather’ option address will guarantee that all guests know where to go if it rains. Also you should have some key people from the party in charge to let the guests know that the ceremony location has moved due to bad weather using a ‘phone-chain’ type of communication.

Following these simple, easy planning steps you won’t need to worry anymore about the weather as you will know exactly what to do if it does happen. You can then enjoy the fun part of the planning, like getting that gorgeous dress! ….but as the ‘Italians’ say ‘the luckiest bride is the one who’s blessed by the rain on her wedding day!”
Have a great wedding day in Sydney!

We got married on the 27th Feb 2010 and the weather was perfect. A nice breeze off the harbour helped to keep it cool and also the choice of a late afternoon ceremony and an outdoor place with plenty of shade was a perfect choice....

I was given the task of writing a marriage paper. A friend of mine told me about a site where assignment writing service are done by professionals from Australia, real honest people. Now we are the whole family, that is, me, my sister and my brother are ordering work here for our study. Parents are glad that we get excellent results for our work and do not notice the difficulties with money, because it is not expensive.
