Hello! Where will the ceremony be at (I know you said beach, but the island is 15 miles long)?
Fisherman's Wharf is a nice place, and has good food. Though the parking isn't very ideal. The restaurant is located on pier 21 downtown and has 2 parking lots that can be validated at any of the restaurants in that area. So your guests would have to make sure to save the ticket and bring it with them so they can park for free. And you might want to find out if there is a time limit for the parking. Some only let you have two hours of parking with the validation.
A few other great places to have your reception (depending on the amount of people) is Saltwater Grill (which is in the book 1,000 places to see before you die USA/Canada edition), Landry's, Mario's Seafood and Italian (there are 2 of them, one on the seawall another on 61st st. The one on the seawall has more character) and Clary's.
I would like to mention that Gaido's and Casey's have both declined in service and food over the past years, so even though they're popular you might be disappointed.
Hope this helps!
Hi Wen, this is Connie, we also have photographers and DJ's in our packages, however, if this is not what you choose I will be glad to assist you in finding others.
Fisherman's Wharf is my favorite place to do wedding receptions, I will be posting photos on my website www.islandweddings.org in the next week of a new room they have added to their possibilities.
Thank you for the replies. We did some searching and due to the unknown circumstances with the oil spill we decided to go with the Roof Garden for our venue for the ceremony and reception. Thank you again for your input!
