I am semi-new to the area and am having trouble finding reception venues here (St. Charles County). I would be willing to go somewhere in St. Louis but I figured since I live in St. Charles, it would be easier for me planning wise. I welcome all suggestions/opinions, both positive and negative! Thanks for your time!

There ia a banquet/reception hall in St.Charles called The Columns. It is off 5th St. The 2nd 5th St. Exit and hall is off of Veterans Memorial Parkway.

I've been to a reception at the Columns. They had a huge dance floor, and the interior was pretty neutral, so you can decorate pretty much exactly how you want it. Not sure if they use their own caterers or if you can hire someone else though. Have you checked out Chesterfield Valley though? Not sure of the budget, but Kemp Auto Museum may be an option.

There are plenty of places in St Charles County.
I have over 50 alone in my Resource Guide.
Let us know about the ones you have already researched
and why you are ruling them in or out.

I had my wedding in St. Charles just over three years ago and we had our reception at the Stegton Regency: www.stegton.com

We really like it because they did all inclusive packages including: hall, food, decorations & cake. However, we do not recommend their in house DJ. That is the only thing I would change. Great service, great food, fantastic to work with. As far as a DJ, if you are looking I would recommend: Quain Tull from www.rockstardjstl.com

Hope this helps. The best of luck to you.

I just had my reception at Whitmoor Country Club and it was fantastic! They were very accommodating, and everything turned out amazing. It is worth checking out!

We have a great bird’s eye view of all kinds of weddings and have been honored to help brides and grooms with many different bridal budgets. Some of our recent wedding reception sites in St. Charles have included: Ameristar (beautiful contemporary space, high end finishes, many room options to accommodate many venues, great suites for travelers and good after party options all under one roof), Foundry Art Center (great contemporary space, more of a neutral space to add your decorations, old town St. Charles Area, private parking lot), St. Charles Convention Center (beautiful space, lots of different spaces and sizes, hotel attached, easy access), Whitmoor Country Club (great atmosphere, good outdoor wedding opportunities), Old Hickory Country Club (lays out wonderfully for weddings of all sizes, good outdoor wedding opportunities), The Columns, Heart of St. Charles, The Christy (O’Fallon) and Trigg Banquet Center all great spaces. And a little further West - Lake St. Louis Club House -- great views of the lake. All of these venues have been wonderful to work with from our perspective. There are so many more -- just keep searching. Hope that helps.
