My son and daughter-in-law had their reception at Jupiter Beach Resort, and it was awesome - but it was for 125 people. I'm sure they have options available for smaller parties - they have a lovely outdoor deck but it gets hot out there . . .
The Sailfish Marina has a wonderful room available for smaller parties overlooking waterway and Peanut Island. It's located on Singer Island.
Also, St. Paul of the Cross Church has 3 different rooms that can be rented - they also provide catering. I've been to parties there and the food was wonderful.
thank you so much for your response.
I am actually looking into Jupiter Resort.
Did they have their ceremony and reception there?
Is there anything you would suggest or recommend with this venue specifically?
How was the food?
Were you able to negotiate any of the costs?
Again, thank you
They only had their reception there - they were married in church. Their wedding was at 11 a.m. so they had a brunch - cocktail hour they served little finger sandwiches: grilled cheese sandwiches & tomato soup; peanut butter and jelly; etc. They had a fruit and cheese table, mimosas, etc. served on the patio
The lunch was served inside - they had 3 stations: omelets to order; pastas to order; and a carving station. It was great.
They wanted to charge $5/napkin to use their linens and the bride (former wedding planner) negotiated to get the name of their linen supplier & she called their supplier and ordered them direct for $1/napkin. They brought in their own wine also to keep the cost down;.
I did go to a wedding where the ceremony was actually on the beach and then the reception was inside - it was beautiful. They put a "grass" carpet on the sand so guests would not be standing in the sand during the ceremony. They had a beautiful archway with tulle, seashells and pearls decorating it - it was beautiful.
My son and daughter in law were recently married at Jupiter Civic Center..wheich is just south of Jupiter Beach Resort. The fees to rent it are very low, there are some stipulations to renting it. We outsourced food (brought their own servers) and music (steel drum man and then a DJ), had THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER, hired our own bartenders, brought in our own liquor and decorated ourselves..... EVERYONE said it was the best wedding they have ever been at !!! Even the caterers !!!
If you need some help or suggestions, feel free to email me... have alot of time savers !! [email protected] most important is to have fun !!!! I can email you photos if you want
