Try The Venetian in Garfield, NJ. That's where we're having our's. :)
We chose the Newark Marriott. Ballroom is much more contemporary than most, that fit our style the best. :) Plus you can bring your own caterer if you so choose. Good Luck :)
Thanks guys! The Venetian is beautiful, congrats! I was there over the weekend and it is on my list :) As for the Marriott, I have to check that one out! Thanks again, and if there are any other suggestions... by all means, they are welcomed!
Did you check out the robert treat hotel down town newark? Its beautiful there and its like 55$pp and you can bring your own cater if you want

This Hotel is Modern. right off of Route 17 . It has 2 ballrooms. The one upstairs is the one i am using. Modern, lots of windows with a nice evening view. Prices are good.

I would suggest Flander's Valley in Flander's NJ. I am having our reception there. It was a little over $120.00 for a Saturday night. The food is excellent and the venue itself is gorgeous, even though it's a bit of a hike! If you have a a little over 100, I would really suggest the Paris Inn in Wayne. I would've loved to have our reception there, but we had just too many people.
Hi there Sallytheactress,
