Outdoor Ceremony/reception

I am looking for somewhere in St.Pete to have my ceremony and reception outdoors. The problem I am having is finding locations that allow alcohol. It seems that most places that are outdoors in St.Pete are county, city, or state parks. Any suggestions?

Sunken gardens allows alcohol. Very beautiful. Classic FL landmark.
Maybe Kapok gardens? I think they were really expensive.

We got married outdoors and then moved to a different location for the reception. For a May wedding, that might not be a bad idea.

You could try Jakes Grotto. http://www.jakesgrotto.com/ We never learned looked in to it because we specifically wanted an indoor reception and it's all outdoor. So I don't know anything about it other than what's on the site, but it looks nice for an all-outdoor option.

The St Pete Beach Community Center is also worth checking out!

We had our wedding at a church but reception was held at the St Pete Beach Community Center. It's located right on the intercoastal. If you are having a small wedding you can hold your ceremony there in the courtyard. Check out www.tampabayvenues.com for pics

You can also rent the Lions Club on Sunset Beach and have the entire event out doors on the beach and/or on their outdoor patio......

Treasure Island also allows alcohol on the beach if it is not in glass containers... Sunset Vistas will let you do your ceremony and reception on the beach... ( I just suggest a tent for shade)

There is also the Clearwater Sailing Center and they have an out door covered patio that overlooks the water also.....and Sand Key Park is right across the street.....

The other great out door location is the Ybor City Gardens.... it is completely outdoors and does allow alcohol......has a real pretty garden feel and at a great price......

You could also check into the TampaBay watch... it is on the way to Fort Desoto and is a real cool looking lighthouse that has outside space also and does allow alcohol.....

The final place that you could use would be the Davis Island Garden Club.... it is located on the water and has beautiful grounds that you can set up all of the tables out doors under the trees, but also has a large outdoor covered patio, just in case of poor weather.....

if you have any more questions, feel free to give us a call and we can point you in the right direction ....www.eventsbyspecialmoments.com
