Wedding Questions

I used Sakura photography and really happy with my pics, Several friends have used them since, and were also really pleased with their pics. A friend of mine used Stone photo , and her pics were great.

(Hi LP...tee hee, we know each other). I agree with LP, Sakura Photography's work was really good. I liked that they had 2 photographers, but not necessarily taking the exact same shot, some shots were the same but different angle, but other shots one was focusing on the couple while the other took a few shots of the guests or the couple from a distance, nice mixture.

We used Realistically Fictional Productions for our video & photo. My husband really wanted a good video & I was happy with their pictures. Worked better financially having same company do both services as we got a better deal for a 2-day event. RF also had two photographers & two videographers. (& 1 more person who backed up the photos & video captured to ensure no loss).

A tip, (sort of) if you want to make your own enlargements be sure to ask if you'll receive the "highest" resolution. 99% photographers out there will give highest res, but I encountered 1 photographer who didn’t. They'd reduce the images given to the client so the largest size printed is a 5x7 & anything larger needs to go thru them.

I see their point, it's their work & they don't want the quality of the print to impede their work, but personally I didn't like as I’m already spending money for the pictures & then having to continue to pay for it, when other photog’s will give the high res images at no extra charge. Plus, it's a way to make more money well after the wedding. Didn't go with them cuz I knew I'd be making many 8x10 enlargements & wasn't about to pay $25 each. I wasn't even able to buy the high res images for an additional cost. (Yes, I type a lot).

It is overwhelming, but you'll find your photographer...

Oh and just to confirm that RF Productions did provide us with the highest resolution images. I know I mentioned it briefly in my post, but just wanted to reconfirm so there's no confusion. Thanks. P&B

I used Carolyn Egerszegi, she is amazing and a pleasure to work with.

I havent gotten wedding photos taken by her (not till July 24) but she did my friends wedding and she has done my engagement pics already.
