While there are some metered parking spaces around the Horseshoe, I believe that the Pendleton St. Parking garage is the most practical option for your guests. Public parking is available on the bottom level of the garage.

Thank you Dennis, would you happen to know whether or not the meters are free on weekends? And I know that there is a parking garage downtown (Lady Street I think) that is free on weekends. Any idea if the Pendleton garage is also free on weekends?
Thanks so much for your reponse.
I am going to try to see if I can offer a little help - if the wedding is early August- you can actually use many of the space behind the chapel and across the horseshoe behind the McCutcheon House since school is not in- lots will be open. Also meters are free on weekends.
On another note- I have done several weddings there where we have had horse and carriage, vintage care, etc. come up on the horseshoe- you have to talk with your contact at Rutledge and also security so that they can open the gates and the right time and then of course close up.
I hope this begins to help!! Best wishes and happy planning
