Have you contacted Viansa Winery (935-2728) or Cline Cellars (940-4000)? Cline has a beautiful grass area with water & huge willow trees. Jacuzzi is a new winery which has a beautiful stonework building. Gloria Ferrer (996-7256) has a road between their vineyards & if you stopped to take pictures, you could see the mountains behind. These are all located about 10 minutes out of Sonoma on 121. You might try Gundlach Bundschu Winery (939-3125), which is about a 2 minute drive from The Lodge, or Nicholson Ranch Winery (938-8822), which is a 5 minute drive from The Lodge. If you need help finding other services, feel free to contact me - especially if you need your wedding cake, groom's cake, bridal shower or any other dessert items!
Have fun with your planning,
Close by is Bartholomew winery which is also a public park with some grassy hills and trees and great views. I was married last October at The Lodge and then did a picnic at Bartholomew, here's a link to some of my photos and you can see what I'm talking about. Most wineries have no problem with public visiting their grounds, you just want to make sure you check with whichever one you choose to see if they have a policy or an event going on the day you wish to be there.
