Hi everyone

I was wondering if anyone knew how to arrange the Wedding parade with Mulatas and tamboras around Old city after your ceremony at the church? or the cost?

Second question- I have probably messaged over 15 Hotels/ casas looking for reception area for 20 guests where I don't have to rent the entire hotel for a outrageous price for the 2 night minimum. please help!!!!

The name of the #1 company for mulatas and hora loca is Ekobios. They are expensive but well worth it. I had the mulatas which was of the highlight of the night among with the hora loca, according to my guests :). If you have a wedding coordinator they will get your their contact information. Cartagena is in high demand for weddings so the houses will not let you rent it just for the night. You will have to look for a hotel venue and at the end will end up costing you the same because their prices for food and alcohol is a lot higher. I got married in April in a old house but I did a long research and traveled to Cartagena just to look for venues and unfortunately that's your only option. Let me know if you need any other information and good luck!

I did my wedding in the terrace at Movich Hotel. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect for weddings with 40 guests or less. I just had to book 4 rooms for only one night. I can give you more details if you are interested.

Thank you Lilana for the company name!!! Im hoping to arrange the wedding myself as its small. Only 20 people and the wedding planner charge approx. $1500 USD for their services

1am is early or late depends on what time you start your ceremony. Our ceremony was at 4pm and by 1am most of people were alright tired and drunk lol. Probably you dont need a wedding planner for only 20 people. I didnt need it and everything went perfect. I can help you with all my contacts with no problem at all. I also had hora loca with Ekobios during the party and of corse it is a must. Ekobios are the best.

Hello,
I am trying to plan my wedding at the Movich as we speak! would you mind giving me some pointers? They gave me an estimate for the terrace, liquor and food...however, I was wondering if the cost of renting the terrace can be negotiated with the reservations of a certain # of rooms?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
I am looking into this venue as well- do they have a planner that you can work with for decor and music? Was the alcohol cost high? I heard its very expensive with hotels and they usually dont allow you to bring your own- corkage fee?

The weeding parade is a new trend and it's looking too beautiful but this is expensive. You can do something new write the weeding poem from edu birdy center and play the poem with parade it's new and unique.
