Hi, I decided to not do a rehearsal dinner because of the price, it was too much money; therefore I did something totally different. I had a rehearsal lunch given that I had a chiva rumbera with 45 of my guest the night before the wedding. For lunch, after the rehearsal (around 2pm) We went to a restaurant at plaza San Diego, if I'm not mistaken, it was called "el balcon" the food was delicious, great service and I had 20 people (only those in the wedding party) and paid something around $280.00 USD. The chiva was $1,200,000 Colombian pesos, it was only for us, 45 people, and it included drinks, live music and a stop to eat typical foods, plus a 2 hour tour. All my guest loved the chiva, and they had a lot of fun. It was definetly better than a dinner, less expensive and we got to introduce everybody before the wedding. Good luck, hope my idea helps!
Hi! I'd say if you want something relatively fancy (drinks and elegant "snacks") it is possible with your budget. I can give you a few options with contacts if you'd like. Whatsapp me +57 3147712506 or email me [email protected] that way if you tell me more of what you expect I can guide you better :)
All my best!
Hi there. There is a restaurant called El Santisimo. We are getting married next year and have not selected our rehearsal dinner venue yet, but we decided to stop by and ask to have an idea of what they offer. They had various packages.
I believe the most expensive comes out to approximately $50.00 (USD) a person but it includes an open bar for two hours. I believe the cheapest one converts to approximately $20.00 (USD) per person. So you would be looking at $1,000.00 (USD). We thought if we choose this option we could simply purchase a few bottles of wine (red and white) instead of the open bar to save $$$ & keep the cost down to probably $1500 instead of $2,500... If people want to drink something else you can have them pay for it themselves.. I guess what you have to consider is what your guests drink and how much. Good Luck! Here is the website to the restaurant. http://www.elsantisimo.com/
My recommendation in order from my favourite to my 4th favourite:
1. La Perla (Peruvian food): very affordable and the food is spectacular. The only thing that may be a problem is the space, but I think if you booked and talk with the manager before hand to specify how many people you want, you'll be fine. This is my number one!
2. FM restaurant: good food, smart casual perfect to the occasion and fairly affordable.
3. Marea by Raush: beautiful food, little bit more expensive however it is worth it. Also perfect for the ocassion.
4. Club de Pesca restaurant: beautiful food and espectacular view. It's the most expensive in my top 4.
Taste-flavours-texture-variety-food presentation-service wise you'll not be disappointed if you choose any from my top 4. I recommend you to go into the web page, check the menu, price, location and photos of the restaurant to make the best decision according to what you want.
Hope this helps :)
