We got married at the Jacksonville Zoo in Florida at the end of March. It was still a little cold and the flowers in the gardens hadn't reached full bloom yet but the setting was still beautiful. Prices for venue and vendors were very reasonable and much lower than that of our other options like Boston or San Francisco. Everyone, get married at the Jacksonville Zoo! It's clean, unique, doesn't smell like animals, classy, and all your guests will remember it.
Absolutely enchanting. This section of the zoo is quiet and very private as it is enclosed by a wall.
The zoo staff was great and setup the whole reception site. The nearby exhibits were left open for our guests to explore while we took post-ceremony photos. The atmosphere is unbelievably unique and memorable while maintaining class.
The staff here was very easy to work with and had much to offer. The free breakfast was great for many of our guests and the rooms were quite nice and clean. Standard mid-level hotel chain quality.
The staff at this hotel was extremely difficult to work with. On that alone, I should have awarded them 1 star. But the hotel is aesthetically pleasing and great for young adult guests with its modern furniture and high-tech amenities. It served as a great party site for the night before the wedding as we welcomed out of town guests.
