Mexico Beach, Florida-- what a PERFECT place to get married. Marty and I got married on September 26, 2009. Our wedding turned out even BETTER than we imagined! The best advice I can give you is to begin by visiting the website http://www.mexicobeach.com/cdc/pdfs/Weddings-in-Mexico-Beach.pdf. I used this as a guide during the planning stages. The local vendors were amazing! I actually planned everything by email! I listed the vendors I used and most importantly my feedback on their services! Want to see our pictures? Visit http://www.simplyelegantphotos.net/blog/! Best of luck!
Clay did a great job with our flowers! I recommend him highly! I sent him an email describing what I envisioned and he made it happen! I must admit-- he may be a little pricey but well worth it!
Marrying Jack was so attentive during our planning. He maintained close contact sending me forms and an outline of the ceremony. He even met with us a day before the wedding to do a quick rehersal. He's such a nice guy!
Great job! A little expensive but overall great quality. We ended up going with a vendor called Witney English and used a starfish theme. Here's the link to the one we used: http://www.whitneyenglish.com/products/item-link.html?item=WS515183&by=occasion&filter=Tropical&page=2.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Tina, of Simply Elegant Photography, was amazing. She took TONS of photos and does quality WORK! Here's a link to her blog with pictures from our wedding: http://www.simplyelegantphotos.net/blog/.
Not only are her prices afforable but the cakes are tasty also. We were DEFINITELY satisfied with Rhonda's cakes. She has a myspace page and pictures of various cakes. Just search for "rhonda_cakes."
My sister, mother and I got our hair done before the wedding and were completely satisfied. They did a great job.
Wylie is so awesome! He went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend memorable. He even went out a bought white Christmas lights, extra pinic tables, tablecloths, and centerpieces(and MORE) to assist with our decorating. I HIGHLY recommend El Govenor to ANYONE wanting to plan a wedding. Plus, they're VERY friendly unlike some places!:)
What a perfect place for a wedding and reception. We rented tables, chairs and linens from Panache and set them up in the "lawn area" behind the Annex. We used the Tiki hutch for the food and cake setup. It turned out great! Such a relaxing and fun place for guests! Plus, we rented out all the rooms in the Annex(except for 2) and had the whole area to ourselves!
