I loved loved our wedding :)
Preps :Diamond hotel - our main splurge, expensive but worth it :) Ilustrado also gave us discount coupons :)
The ceremony was beautiful and intimate (main reason why we chose the chapel).
our guests were mingling around outside the chapel before the ceremony, taking photos.
The reception was lovely and lively too! Our host was Sweet Casuyon and she was perfect! The reception started like a party and it was carried out throughout til the end :) We had Libante Strings play during ceremony and reception :) Our guests kept commenting how surprisingly great and meaningful the reception was :)
Food is very good. Favorites: Paella, Lengua, Roast Beef and the desserts!!!
Event Manager for the reception took really good care of us and let us customize our menu :) Food tasting here was the best part of our wedding preps
Cons: We had about 170-180 guests, we wanted to move the buffet table to the next room because we thought it would be too cramped. But they didn't let us do it. On the wedding day, it was too cramped. It was a bit embarassing to our guests, especially the VIPs who was sitting practically on top of the band. Not good. Also, the lack of space was a problem when the guests had to line up for the buffet. The backdrop of the couple's chair in front was not at all good. We chose from a photo and what we ended up looked like something a kid can do (white cloth with 4-5 green leaf-like things on it. weird.)
their prices are a bit high, but if you consider it carefully: it's less hassle because the caterer and venue is handled by the same people, they offer free cake and car and venue decor, plus hotel discount card (Diamond Hotel). the food is fab :) and the venue itself is very classy :) our guests loved it, especially the foreigners and those from the provinces (Paco Park + Intramuros) :) Not bad at all!
Very very nice place :) this is the first thing we booked - almost 10 months in advance! they opened the booking for 2011 on april 2010, so better inquire first :) they're not that strict and they are very helpful with the requirements.
the venue is lovely. but the chapel door is glass, so i asked my coordinator to bring white cloths to cover the door from the inside so that i can still have my dramatic bridal entrance :) we didnt have our reception there because we were afraid of rain, but the place is beautiful and serene :)
