Our wedding was all outdoors. The ceremonty was at Lilacia Park and the reception at a family home. It was a smaller more intimate wedding of 85 people in Lombard, IL just outside of Chicago. A lot of it was DIY, but we needed vendors to provide the rest. The tent was beautiful and people would not stop raving about the food. We made our own oldies play list and there was a lot of fun and dancing!
They were very easy to work with and knew exactly what I wanted just from showing them one picture. We even had an issue with our tent vendor not picking up our chairs from the ceremony, and they let us use their van to get our chairs to our reception site. They go above and beyond!
For the most part, they were easy to work with and the quality was good. We just had minor issues with them as far as miscommunication with the pick up of chairs at different locations and some of the chairs arriving dirty, so we had to clean them ourselves.
This company was great to work with. They offer different packages, and even accomdated our DIY photobooth idea. Both of the photographers were great and very personable.
Hands down the best cakes/cupcakes in the city of Chicago. They also offer delicous gluten-free and vegan gluten-free options. They made us a beautiful custom two tiered cake and mini cupcakes for our guests.
If you want to do an outdoor wedding with basically no cost this place is perfect. It's quite, gorgeous, and depending on the time of year, already has flowers for you. We only had to pay the park districk $75 to hold the date, and $150 for the bathroom with the buildings in it, but they reimburse that when you return the key as long as there is no mess.
I worked with Bridget Cullina at this location, and she is AMAZING! We had a lot of last minute and late room reservations, but she made sure to accomodate us and go above and beyond in helping me get reservations for people. The hotel is also very clean and beautiful and has a great restaurant for brunch downstairs.
